Water Resources
Global Water continues its dominance as the leading groundwater services company. Our full range of water related services include Hydrogeological investigation, geophysical investigation, geological mapping, resource identification, well field design and development, pump tests, pump services, water filtration and purification, pipeline installation, sewer rehabilitation, storage, aquifer maintenance, remediation and wastewater treatment and discharge.

Geotechnical Construction
To stabilize soils for construction, Global Water services include artificial ground freezing, chemical grouting, ompaction grouting, construction drilling, drilled micropiles, jet grouting, permeation grouting, post-tensioned rock and soil anchors, vibratory ground improvement and stone columns. Vibratory ground improvement and jet grouting are ideal for increasing the load bearing soil characteristics needed for civil construction projects. Artificial ground freezing is used for groundwater control and excavation support in water-bearing soils.

Environmental Drilling
We maintain drilling teams specially trained to work on hazardous waste sites and groundwater contamination projects. From initial site assessment to the implementation of remediation, services include: borehole geophysics; investigative drilling; well logging; monitoring wells; recovery wells; and maintenance of groundwater recovery systems. Our large equipment inventory supports most drilling methods, sampling techniques, well depths and diameters.

Safety
Safety is an integral part of Global Water’s management structure. A dedicated Safety and Environmental Health Sciences Division directs programs to keep all field personnel trained in current safety practices. All drilling crews are OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste trained with current 8-hour and supervisor updates, which include annual medical monitoring. In addition to the PRD training, crews are well trained. Forklift and crane certification is standard for all Global Water field employees.

Develop & Maintain
Once an appropriate source is identified, a water system is constructed. This includes drilling, construction and development of a well or, in the case of surface water, constructing an appropriate intake system. Pumps and equipment are specified and installed. Purification
Global Water resolves water quality problems through custom-engineered filtration and treatment systems. Global Water’s chemists and engineers determine the appropriate treatment technology then construct a system scaled to each customer’s unique needs.

Radial Collector Wells incorporate a

Pump Repair & Maintenance
Our personnel provide expert repair

Operations Management

Well Maintenance
A water system is dynamic. After a well has been in operation for a while, its capacity may decline or water quality may change. Chemical treatment of water wells is a process of treating wells, well screens, gravel walls and adjacent water bearing formations to rid them of silt, mud, mineral scale and microscopic organisms which reduce the output of water and decrease the efficiency of the well.

In restoring a well to its calculated
output, Layne engineers first carefully
analyze the well's history and possible
sources of the lost capacity, then select
the most appropriate method of
treatment, apparatus and chemicals to
be used. Each rehabilitative program is
individually suited to the unique
situation of the well involved.
